Major Peewee, 2011-2012 (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

The Jr. Sting had a chance to eliminate London Tuesday night at home and advance to the semis's with a victory but the defending champs had a different plan.

Coming off a very rare victory over London Friday evening at home the team were back on the road Saturday for game #3 in their quarter final matchup. The team knew it would be a very difficult task to win back to back games in the playoffs against a very strong Knight club.

Playing arguably their best game of the season the Peewee's evened their series with the Jr. Knights with a hard fought and well desrved 2-1 victory.

Lambton started slow and found themselves trailing 3-0 before they turned it on but the deficit was too big to overcome, especially against a team like London.

The Peewee's were the victors in a hard fought five game series with Windsor Spitfires and now have the dubious task of facing London in the next series, but the boys are looking forward to the clash.
