Major Peewee, 2016-2017 (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

As we entered into our next round of playoffs against the London Knight's these Hockey Moms thought they would show their team spirit by wearing their sons home jersey to the 1st game.

Our boys took on the London Jr. Knight's last night in London. They took the ice ready to battle the Knight's, but also with a special purpose. The boys traded their yellow tape for orange last night in support of a special little boy, Lucien Nadeau who has recently undergone brain surgery to remove a large growth. Lucien's favourite colour is orange and he loves hockey. Lucien is not able to skate right now so the boys skated for him. Lambton Jr. Sting battled on the ice last night but fell defeated in a 5-3 loss.

The boys invited Myles Vanni of The Inn of the Good Shepherd to their practice tonight to present a cash donation and canned goods to help stock the shelves of the local Inn Our team Captain Austin Harper presented the donation to Mr. Vanni. Merry Christmas to all.

The 2004 Jr. Sting had 2 very interesting games on Friday vs 2 extremely talented teams in Ontario. The Jr. Sting competed hard in their first game vs Toronto Red Wings with a 2-2 tie, goal scorers were #17 Anthony Tudino and #91 Brett Vince. The Sting went ahead with 5:53 seconds remaining in 3rd period, but could not hang on as the Red Wings scored with 4:15 left in the 3rd to end the contest in a 2-2 tie. Fabulous effort by everyone including Elijah Grant who faced 21 shots and was brilliant once again for the Lambton Sting. #22 Cameron Hachey and #11 Noah Harse faced a tremendous amount ...
