Sting Lose Series to Chatham-Kent, News, Minor Atom '00, 09-10 (Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey )

This past Saturday the minor atom AAA Lambton Jr Sting  hosted the Huron-Perth Lakers for game 3 of of the 6 point series.  The Sting were up 4 points leading up to the game and were anxious to win at home and end the series.

The Sting played a home and away this past weekend with the Huron-Perth Lakers and came away with 2 victories putting them 2-0 in the series.

To be a defenseman, Alec T. says you have to do these things every game, "Stand' em up, shut' em down, keep' em out and do it again."  When goalie Cole D. was asked for his comments, his response was "Alec KNOWS what he's talking about!"  ...

Lambton Minor Atoms have started there playoffs against the Chatham/Kent Cyclones in a 6 point series.  They have played 2 games thus far, winning the first 5-2 and were edged out 1-0 in the second game.

The Minor Atoms last 2 games were a home and away series with the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.  The boys were edged 4-3 in a heartbreaker in the home game but 1 week later avenged the loss with a convincing 4-1 victory.

Over the Christmas holidays the Sting travelled to Brantford to participate in the Wayne Gretzky Tournament.  The boys played very well throughout the tournament making it to the finals against the Hamilton Bulldogs, before losing in a great game, ...
