96's Unbeaten in 8 games!!!

Over the last 8 games the 1996 Major Bantam team has gone 5-0-3. In the last five league play games this same group has gone 2-0-3 and has collected 7 points out of a possible 10 points.
We have become a much more competitive hockey team over the the course of this season. We have had many first's and two of our most notable one were beating Sun County 5-3 and London Gold 1-0. We have made it to the Finals and the Semi Finals in the two tournaments we have played in. It is amazing to see the transformation of hockey these group of boys have gone through in the last two years. We actually have more goals for than against on the season and I believe last year we had more than double scored against than what we scored. Boys put together a great performance against the number 4 team in Ontario Elgin Middlesex were we were only down 4-3 with six minutes left in the third before giving up a power play goal on a questionable call. We have a few very difficult teams coming up and should be a great challenge in the weeks to come.
