Sting Pull Victory Out Late
The Sting hit the road Friday evening for a 7pm tilt with the Windsor Spitfires and were rewarded with a well deserved victory.

The Sting were in for a real dog fight as Windsor were a team on a roll having posted consecutive shut outs vs London and Chatham.
The home town Spits opened the scoring with 1:31 remaining in the first. Lambton tied it on a Jared Pageau goal at 4:41 of the second, Brennan Mckegan and Josh Barraclough added assists. The score remained 1-1 after two.
Windsor regained the lead 2 1/2 mins into period #3 and looked like they were going to shut the door until Daniel Wellington was left alone in the slot and made no mistake tying the game with just over two minutes remaining, Jared Pageau and Cameron Rannie assisted.
With 40 seconds remaining a pinching Ben Schoch scored the game winner while Josh Barraclough and Jared Pageau had the helpers.
A very satisfying victory as Lambton played a very strong game and were helped out in goal as Ethan Williams played a vey good game.
The Sting play two more home games this weekend vs Kitchener Saturday and Windsor on Sunday.
