Sting Open Bauer World Tourney With Win
The Major Atoms opened The Bauer World Hockey Tourney with a 6-0 win over the St. Jude Knights. The boys came out strong  and opened the scoring early in the period with a goal by Wil O'Leary-Dilosa, assisted by Christopher Scott.  Blake Butler,assisted by Wil O'Leary-Dilosa and Kaleb Edlington, found the back of the net to finish the first period and advance the score to 2-0.



In the second period of play the Sting added 2 more goals to go up 4-0. Kaleb Edlington scored his first goal of the season unassisted and Wil O'Leary-Dilosa added a short-handed goal.

The Sting notched two more goals in the third period of play. Kaleb Edlington added his second goal of the game on a pass from Blake Butler and Jackson Cole scored his first AAA goal, assisted by Blake Butler.

Adam Mino recorded the shut out for the Sting this morning, holding the Knights off the score board with a big glove save late in the game.
