Lambton Jr Sting Minor PeeWee's take 3 of 4 points in weekend action

The Lambton squad travelled to Cambridge on Saturday and came home with a 3-2 victory thanks to an effective powerplay. On Sunday the Jr Sting hosted the London Jr Knights Green and ended up with a 1-1 tie.
In the Cambridge contest, the Jr Sting were granted an abnormal number of powerplay opportunities and were successful in converting on three to take a hard fought victory. Scoring in the game were Franco Sproviero, Colin Leyten and Isaac McLean, with assists going to Sproviero and Leyten. Jake Wilkins was solid in net.
Back on their home ice the Jr Sting had an opportunity to spend some time on their penalty killing and despite some excellent offensive chances, could only beat the London goalie on one occasion. Scoring for Lambton on a breakaway was Ethan Dupont, assisted by his downriver teammate Griffin Dillabough. Kaden Fulcher was sharp in the net, making his return from the injured reserve.
