Lambton Minor PeeWee's Fight Back to Earn 3-3 Tie with Elgin Middlesex Chiefs
Submitted By Jeff Perry on Monday, January 18, 2010
The Jr Sting squad welcomed the Chiefs to the RBC Centre on Monday night and after taking the first two periods of the game off, put out a good final period effort to salvage a point.

Elgin was able to build a 3-0 lead with just over three minutes to play in the second period, before the Jr Sting would battle for their first goal of the game just before the third period would begin. Scoring on a powerplay effort was Franco Sproviero, assisted by Brock Perry. With some momentum on their side the local squad would pull to within one on a nice effort by Jarret Marks, assisted by Jack Dunn with just over six minutes to play. The tying goal would come from Brock Perry on a nice setup by Alec Dekoning and Isaac McLean with just over minute left in regulation. The Jr Sting had another late chance to score but were unable to capitalize. Kaden Fulcher was solid in net to help earn the single point.
