Minor Midgets are 5-0

The Lambton Jr Sting Minor Midgets have completed their 3rd week of the regular
season now holding a 5-0 record. In their home opener hosting the Chatham
Cyclones the Minor Midgets clenched a 4-2 victory with goals coming from Cody
Trowell, Brennan Feasey, Nathan Mater and Matt Cimetta. Since the home opener
the Jr Sting have crashed through 3 other opponents leading them to 5-0.
Defeating the Hamilton Reps 10-1 with scoring from Nathan Mater and Cody
Trowell each getting 2 respectively as well as single markers from Brennan
Feasey, Mike Gray, Dawson Elviage, Dylan Cooper, Josh Moore and Clint Rose. They
then hosted the Sun County Panthers and took a 5-1 victory where Nathan Mater
found himself a hat-trick and Brennan Feasey and Matt Cimetta both added single
markers. Finally, Sunday night in Kitchener the Minor Midgets took a hard fought
victory, where Brennan Feasey snagged the only goal of the game scoring with
1:27 left in the third leading to a 1-0 victory. Hunter Johnson put on a superb net-minding performance to hold the shutout. The Minor Midget Jr Sting will be on the road
for the next 2 weeks looking to make a large leap in their stats playing in the
Alliance Showcase tournament in London and the Tim Horton's Invitational
Tournament in Hamilton.
