Minor Midgets Remain Undefeated after Alliance Showcase weekend

The Lambton Jr Sting Minor Midgets remained undefeated after a four game weekend in London at the Alliance showcase tournament with 2 wins and 2 ties.        Starting their weekend this past Friday in a matchup with the Cambridge Hawks the Minor Midgets pulled out a 4-1 victory with goal scoring coming from Dylan Cooper, Cody Trowell, Nathan Mater and Josh Moore. Assists in the game where given from Mike Gray, Kyler Keating, Matt Cimetta, Brennan Feasey Spencer Bronzi, Kyle Cutler and Tyler Coleman.         Saturday morning the Minor Midgets snatched their second victory of the weekend from the London Green Jr Knights with a score of 3-1. Goal scoring coming from Tyler Coleman, Tanner Thompson and Matt Cimetta. Assists in the game where given from Cody Trowell, Josh Moore, Brennan Feasey and Tyler Prong.     The first of two ties came against the Brantford 99er's in a rematch from last years Consolation Championship. At the end of Saturday evening nothing was decided in a 4-4 tie. Scoring for Lambton were Cody Trowell with 2, Clint Rose and Brennan Feasey. Assisting was Spencer Bronzi with 2, Nathan Mater and Tyler Prong.     Finally on Sunday afternoon the Minor Midget's were able to leave the Western Fair Sports Centre with their Undefeated record still intact holding a 1-1 tie against the Waterloo Wolves. The only Lambton goal came from Josh Moore early in the game assisted by Brennan Feasey.     This weekend the Minor Midgets invade the city of Hamilton to try and put a few more notches on their current 7-0-2 record at the Tim Horton's Invitational Tournament and try and knock the new helmets off the Zamboni driver's. Let's go Sting!
