Jr. Sting Win in Chatham
The Minor Bantams took to the road Saturday afternoon for a matchup with the Chatham Kent Cyclones in the Old Memorial Arena.
Chatham got on the board with the first goal then it was all Lambton with 5 unanswered markers.
The Jr. Sting killed off a 2 minute 5 on 3 PP that proved to be the turning point of the game as the score was 2-1 at the time.
Jared Pageau paced the attack with two goals while Cameron Rannie, Noah Campbell and Eric Cardinal had singles.
Matt Hunt with 2 assists, Conner Royer, Jason VanBommel, Max Steeves, Caleb Adrian and Nick Discanno with an assist each. Discanno's assist was a very selfless play setting up Eric Cardinal who drove hard to the net.
Kyle Brinacombe was rock solid once again between the pipes, making some very tough stops.
The Sting travel to Komoka Sunday to take on Elgin.
