Big Come From Behind Win for Sting
The Minor Bantams were in Komoka Super Bowl Sunday to face the Chiefs from Elgin and were looking to continue their strong play.

The team turned in a very strong effort and pulled off a huge win, scoring 2 goals in the last couple of minutes of the game to put a big hurt in Elgin's playoff position.
The Chiefs scored a short handed goal in the second frame to take a 1-0 lead into period three.
Lambton had several chances in the first two periods but either just missed or were turned away by the Chief goalie. Things looked grim for Lambton until Jared Pageau tied things up at one with an unassisted tally with 2:31 remaining on the clock. The Sting were carrying most of the play for the third period and did not seem satisfied with a tie when Noah Campbell (ex Chief) went in on a break away and wired home the winning goal with 43 seconds remaining. Nick Discanno and Conner Royer assisted. It was a very entertaining game as both teams played hard and only three minor penalties called the entire game.
The coaching staff is very proud of these young men as they keep playing hard until the final buzzer. They are starting to believe they can win.
Great Effort Boys !!!!
